What is James web space telescope?

(1) JWST is the largest-ever space telescope.
(2) It is expected to be launched in 2018 following the in-depth testing.
(3) It is bigger and more powerful than NASA’s operational Hubble Space Telescope.
(4) It is an infrared telescope.
(5) It is the formal successor to the Hubble Space Telescope and the Spitzer Space Telescope. After its launch, it will be the premier observatory of the next decade.
(6) It is an international collaboration between about 17 countries including NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

15 Schemes of 2015-2016 in 15 Short Paragraphs

Dear friendss, here is a list of 15 schemes launched by the Prime Minister in 2015-16.

1. AMRUT – Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation. The focus is to improve infrastructure in an efficient and effective manner in both rural and urban areas.

2. PMJDY – Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana.
The purpose is to open more bank accounts, spread banking all across India especially in rural areas.

3. Smart City Mission – This project aims to provide good infrastructure, better services, enhance the quality of living, environmental improvement as well as economic growth.

4. Skill India Mission – The principal focus is to develop the talent of Indian youth segment by providing industrial training and thereby creating 500 million job opportunities by 2020.

5. Digital India – The main aim to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.

6.Atal Pension Yojana – The pension scheme primarily aims at helping Indian citizens who are working for unorganised sectors.

7. Mudra Bank Yojana – Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency. It provides a loan at low rates to small entrepreneurs.

8. PMSBY – Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. This scheme is for accident insurance in India. Eligibility is from 18 – 70 years. The premium is Rs 12 per annum (excluding service tax) and the maximum sum insured is 2 lakhs.

9.PMJJBY – Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana. This is also insurance scheme. Eligibility is from 18 – 50 years. In this scheme, a person has to pay Rs. 330 annual premium excluding service tax. If insurance holder died due to any reason, the nominee would receive two lakhs.

10. Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana – The focus of this scheme to encourage parents to save fund for the education and future expenses of their girl child.

11. Accessible India – This scheme is also known as Sugamya Bharat Abhiyaan. The focus is to provide equal opportunities to persons with disabilities.

12. Start Up India, Stand Up India – The main aim of this scheme is to help and encourage women entrepreneurs.

13. Housing for All – The primary focus is to provide an affordable house to urban poor ranging from Rs. 1,00,000 to 2,30,000 per house and promote slum free cities by 2022.

14. IAF & SMILE – India Aspiration Fund (IAF) and SIDBI Make in India Loan for Small Enterprises (SMILE). The main aim is to provide funds to start-ups in India and for the development of small enterprises.

15. Gold Monetisation Scheme – The scheme is designed to help you to earn interest on your unused gold lying idle in bank lockers.
